I haven't posted in a loooong time! I just wanted to post some snapshots from the past week. Living here in Colorado I take the mountains for granted sometimes which I shouldn't. We drove to Rocky Mountain National Park and immersed ourselves in the mountains to remind us how amazing they really are. The spot where we stopped had a pretty high elevation about 12,000 feet above sea level and that isn't even the highest point in the park! It's refreshing to just be in nature and see no buildings around for as far as the eye can see.
Also, Jen came and visited for a few days too. We basically just giggled the whole time cracking silly jokes, played Settlers of Catan, and sung every lyric to The Flight of the Conchords songs. One of the days Jen was here we had a relaxing afternoon at the Eldorado Springs pool with some friends right next to the mountains near Boulder.
After that long blogging hiatus I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. It's nice to blog again. <3
